Suggest it to your math teacher to make it a school project? You can graph the results over a period of time so we can all see

You have to include multiple accounts in your figures too - certainly the creation and 'busting' or dropping thereof will account for some of the fluctuation.
There are also a number of retired people who pop back to the forums from time to time but are not on the active scoreboard.
