Why was this thread locked: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=171226

There was nothing going on against the rules and it was discussion about something that happened on CC.

More than likely, the OP was deleted chap, and the rest of the thread locked.
Were you looking for an answer, or just looking to point fingers? I don't see the point of THIS thread, TBH.

it was a post by an account that posted the same advertising in every subforum.

i reported half a dozen of them. i guess admin deleted the account, the posts went with it and the relevent threads were locked.

chap was merely not understanding about spam bot and etc.

Now we here in GD would very much appreciate it if you tourney people didn't let your little spats and tiffs overflow into this vitally informative forum.

also, we don't like to watch our parents fighting. if you have an issue with how another mod did their job, take it up with them privately. or if you insist upon public humiliation, use the mod HQ to call them out.

I am positive Chap's intention was not to call anybody out.

This is probably correct.

I didn't understand that the OP was deleted. I thought that someone else had created a thread to ask about the spam bot and then his thread got locked. Now that Serbia has cleared it up for me, I understand.
