trench tie-breaker???

Who wins a trench game if the rounds expire? I was under the impression that it is player with the most TERRITORIES rather than the one with the most armies...I have been playing that way but others in the game think it is most TROOPS??? want to know as it is very near the end right now...thanx all (and no smart ass sarcsm pls)

As LFAW said, once the round limit expires (trench or no trench), the winner is the player with the most troops.
However, if two or more players are tied for most troops, then player with the most regions will win.
If two or more players are tied for most troops AND most regions, red wins (unless red has been eliminated, in which case green wins).
