What happened to our (thankfully) former conqueror?

GLG was kicked out of all of his active games for "violating the rules".

Anybody have any idea as to which rule (although he was certainly racking up the violations)? There is no recent C&A report to my knowledge.

I only noticed when I checked out the Scoreboard and noticed him gone completely.

its "Bijltjesdag" as they say in the Netherlands, but it seems glg is not the only ban today. I wonder how it is going to play out, but I have little doubt he is not comming back.

I am no GLG fan but I'm gonna say that I don't think he should be banned for something that he has already done time for. I'd really like to read the reason for his disappearance.

Who else has been booted? Why?

I started to play CC and was just getting into it. My son got the bug so I helped him get set up as well. He got hooked and soon begged me for premium membership (how could I refuse?). Then he played for a few months but, as kids do, eventually got distracted (with 20+ games on the go). I played his account so he wouldn't deadbeat all his games and soon I was hooked on the speed games and improving his ranking. Suddenly five years and 1500+ games go by. The current admins suggested I revert back to my ID for this transition as he had some personal info in game comments and plenty of seven year old fits of rage after a run of bad luck.

GLG couldn't be Conquerer and Webmaster. it's a conflict of interest so he has removed his son's account :-$

Blitz got caught cheating over a year ago. There were several threads dedicated to it - I'm sure someone will link you, if you can't search and find it yourself.

Don't kid yourself; guaranteed he's back as a multi as he cannot help himself. It will be a matter of time before he slips up like he always does.

I meant what happened to his account? I heard he cheated but how?

So the way that I see it, GLG was kicked out while he was the current title holder of Conqueror. Which in a way is like saying, No one could take the title from him so let's just kick him out of CC instead as that is the only way that we can get a new conqueror in by default. That's the way I see. Real smooooooth???

Too bad! It would have been a nice thing to witness GLG actually losing the title to someone else legitimately. We did after all, witness him climbing up that proverbial ladder to the top and in all that time, all was well and swell through the years. Now we will just never really know for sure if a true conqueror could have taken him out. So for all intent and purpose GLG went out, a True Conqueror.

That's the only way to go if you have to get kicked out of CC after all that time spent climbing his way to the top. You would think that if he was really that bad of an influence, that he would have gotten kicked out of CC a long time ago? Go figure that, huh?

This is pure asinine drivel. I can't even quote what you said, it's so ridiculous, and intentionally blind. Or did you fail to pay attention to the times when he got temporary bans for his illegal methods that he used to gain the title in the first place? The amazing thing is that he never received a point-reset, and that CC continues to recognize that he was Conqueror at all.

Have you grown out of those monogrammed knee-pads he gave you last Christmas yet?
Jesus....the guy intentionally bent and broke every rule to create as much dissension and disruption on this site sole for the pleasure of the attention dump.
On the way up he hooked a legion of naive sheeple to cheer him on, and defend him in every forum. If you hurry, you might be able to get a pro rated refund for your glg glee club 2012 membership.

Sounds to me like there are a lot of disgruntled members of the I hate GLG club because he duped me into paying attention to him...

"the guy intentionally bent and broke every rule to create as much dissension and disruption on this site sole for the pleasure of the attention dump."

All I know is that it takes two to tango and if you ignore an idiot then he goes away. But if you address his issues then you're duped. Be honest. You are angry at your self for letting him get to you. But you need closer and now you may never have it. I feel just terrible for you. The pain and those emotional scars will be with you for life.
