You realy have great and "smart" people who work in implementation of sugestions, they have briliant ideas, i realy dont understand why you even have sugestion forums when they know everything.
Yeah, we do need a formal system for honouring those who have made good suggestions. Good point.
unfortunately the Suggestions mods don't want to recognise community contributions.
I don't think it's a case of "don't want to." I suspect they just don't see a clear and straightforward way to do it. Part of the problem is that there are numerous duplicate suggestions, and there are also those who were made by someone who then walked away and did no follow-up at all. There's a natural concern about how to objectively decide who has really "contributed" to a suggestion as opposed to who has just tossed off a casual idea and did nothing to make it come to fruition. There's also a concern that if there are medals for suggestions, that medal whores will just spam the Suggestions forum with hundreds of suggestions, gambling that some of them will eventually be enacted and result in a medal.
I think these problems can be solved, and like I said I definitely believe we DO need some method of rewarding good suggestions, but at the same time I'm not going to belittle those who are looking at the problem from a more conservative viewpoint.
