How does two turn notice work?

Hi Guys, how exactly does two turn notice work?

If I notify before my turn that I'm giving notice, I take my turn and then once my opponent takes his turn then the truce is over? Or is it two cycles of what I just described?

Example 1:
-players agree to truce in round 12 with a 2-turn notice rule
-player A warns player B he intends to lift the truce in round 34, 2-turn notice rule activates
-Round 36 truce is gone

Usually the one who takes his turn first every round has the advantage attack. Over time I've learned confusion can set itself pretty quickly, so usually I write in chat "I hereby activate 2-turn notice, truce ends in round 36". There is no room for confusion that way.

i just agree to the truce and break it when it is best for me and at the worst possible time for the other party... that is how most of the site does it...-Jésus noir
