Simple question on the High Seas Map

For those who have played on the High Seas map - where are the boundaries for the +1 bonus in the middle of the map?

Does the Mediterranean connect to the Red Sea with fortifications? It looks like the land might possibly block an attack or fortification route. I'm guessing Arabian Sea is definitely blocked by land mass from Black Sea.

It looks to me that the southernmost territory for the +1 bonus extends down to Red Sea & Arabian Sea...is that correct or is that part of the +6 bonus in the south?

Thanks for any help on this before I play a game on there.

land is impassable so the Mediterranean Sea connects to Canary Basin, Adriatic, and Black Sea. that's it.

Black Sea and Adriatic ONLY connect to the Mediterranean Sea.
