how do i get out of a usergroup

a private closed usergroup, in which we have no leader selected... I cant figure it out lol, any help welcome!

Control Panel - Usergroups - Select the one you want out - bottom of the page: Resign selected (don't forget to press Submit).

that doesnt work for private groups...i think the leader has to remove you
i havent figured a way around it...and im having smae problem

If the leader has gone AWOL, then send a ticket in from the help page asking to be removed. If the leader cannot be contacted, they will either remove you, open the group so you can abandon yourself or will look for a new leader, depending on the clan.
