A fun thing to do is read simple things like comics, try reading the Donald Duck, it will sure help

I heard from americans who went to the Netherlands and Belgium that people in Belgium got irritated when they had to speak english, but in the Netherlands, people were very helpful and enthusiastic to talk english and help them...
However, these americans might have kept in mind that we were from the Netherlands ourselves and I'm not sure if they would tell the same story to Belgian people, lol :lol:

also I have talked to quite some americans who have tried to learn dutch, with or without succeeding :lol:

I have seen miraculous results from people who take a 3 week intensive language-course and speak dutch with almost no accent at all (in one case, I thought the guy was dutch actually).

I'm sure they have good support for foreign students who want to learn dutch at the university you are going to, you'll manage.

Flemish people are known for theie wire of languages (1.dutch, 2.french, 3.english, 4.german or spanish). It would surprise me that flemish people would get irritated for just a moment of an english mouth.
Why do i speak only about flemish people instead of belgian people? Our country is divided in 2 languages. Unfortunately, wallon people speak french and they're not very open to speak another language, even it's the second language of their motherland

Another tip for learning Dutch... use post-its on every single objects in your room. If you're confronted with them several times during a single day, within a few days you'll know the name of those objects in the dutch language

Schizophrenie kent een aardig aantal therapiemogelijkheden. Ik wil er best eentje bellen.

Ben je met de Bob thuisgebracht vanavond en ben je zelf niet zo helder meer. Dat zou alles uitleggen

zou het niet mooi zijn als iedereen weer plain risk zou gaan spelen. Niemand heeft nog BOB of Clickies. Dat lijkt mij tof!

Ik speel al sinds het begin op Internet Explorer (dus zonder alle features) en dat heeft me nog nooit windeieren gelegd. Over het algemeen vermijd ik Freestyle Speedgames, maar de enige keer dat ik dat gedaan heb, heeft het zeer goed uitgepakt. Al met al zijn het leuke toevoegingen, maar het zal je de games echt niet winnen als je de rest niet onder controle hebt.

Ik denk dat ik het met Blombier eens moet zijn. Al moet ik wel zeggen dat de tabel met troepen en inkomen een nuttige toevoeging was.

Voor freestyle maakt clickable maps echt wel verschil. Maar voor de rest zijn BOB en CM eigenlijk alleen versnellers, BOB geeft je sneller inzicht in hoe sterk je staat, en hoe je kan aanvallen. Maar dat is ook prima zonder te doen.

in speed games vind ik BOb niet altijd even handig, soms heb ik zelfs het idee dat het wat langer duurt met BOB. Maar een speedgame zonder clickies kan ik me bijna niet voorstellen. (zeker nu niet meer nou iedereen clickies heeft)

bob is vaak noodzakelijk voor de aanvals lijnen. met 30 games speel ik vakk 20 verschillende maps. dan is het lastig alles altijd goed in the schatten (al denk ik dat ik dat wel kan, ik ben graag voorzichtig in dit soort dingen)
