Anyway, so who thinks we should just bandwagon the power roles like alt etc? If mafia got one of these roles we are fucked and the mafia know who has the good roles as well. Things are kind of stacked against us here, I would like to put the players with the best powers under pressure so that they have to tell us what they are doing and why. This way we can moderate the best townies while analysing them for scum.

It's hard to call considering some of the guys at the top do in fact have quite high numbers so were maybe hoping for a role more in the middle of their list.

It's hard to call considering some of the guys at the top do in fact have quite high numbers so were maybe hoping for a role more in the middle of their list.

I agree it is possible that some people ranked in a way that did not represent fully the roles they wanted but it is pretty clear the top 5 names will have significantly more power and with it more danger.

It is also very important to note what roles mafia would have valued more, even if this results in a little WIFOM.

Vig is much more likely to be chosen by the mafia and doc is much more likely to be chosen by townie. I am not really sure on how the whole mafia roles thing worked out, does this mean that only mafia could select those roles but could also choose normal ones? If so I hope they took the mafia only roles as it could lead to counter claims, or people high on the list claiming they got a very poor role.

There were 19 roles available: 15 were common (could be chosen by anyone), 2 were town-exclusive and 2 were mafia-exclusive.
15 roles were picked and 4 are not in the game.

Also the fun part that comes of this is that just because you are a certain role does not mean you are town. A normally town aligned role could be easily mafia now so bring on the WIFOM!!!

Well, if we are looking for something to discuss to get us out of the joke vote phase we could discuss the merits of a day 1 mass claim to try weed out any scum members who may have taken one of the scum only roles. (Unless Rodion through them an unnecessary bone by telling the scum which role were not chosen so they can fake claim them.)
