Day Scene
"Tonight's the night. And it's going to happen again and again. Has to happen. Nice night. Miami is a great town. I love the cuban food, pork sandwhiches, my favourite. But I'm hungry for something different now."
"It's been over a month since The Ice Truck killer last haunted Miami and Sgt. Doakes hasn't let me out of his sights since. He caught a glimpse of my dark side and he won't stop following me until he catches it again. But I can wait and bide my time. Live the life of the average Miami goer until Doakes grows tired or makes a mistake. Then I will make my move. Until then I go bowling"

"Another strike Dexter? You know with you on the team I think we have a real shot at winning the tournament." Angel says with a smile and gives him a pat on the shoulder.
"I can only hope. You're up Masuka."
"So Dexter I hear Deb's coming back to the force tomorrow. How's she been? Man, I'd like to bowl her pins over."
Angel pushes him lightly. "Can you cut it with the innuendo for once that's his sister you're talking about."
"Right sorry."
"It's ok." Dexter grabs his bowling bag. "I think I'm actually gonna call it a night. I promised Rita I would come over."
"Night Dexter" Masuka replies. "Tell your sister I'll see her tomorrow."
"And if you two didn't work in the same building she'd never allow you to." Dexter turns to face an angry Doakes, turning a beer glass over in his hands. "Want to come with me Sarge? It's pizza & game night again. I think I'll get pepperoni this time and the kids can play scrabble."
Doakes glares at him but walks away without a word. Dexter watches him go as a stray thought crosses his mind. "Today might be my lucky night after all."

He had picked his target out a while back and had just been waiting to move in. A voodoo priest who had been hired to curse people of his client's choosing. To the client the deaths looked like the curse had done it's work and to the coroner, the deaths had been linked to natural causes but Dexter had done his homework and knew exactly what he was dealing with. The Priest used a poison that much he was sure of, though he hadn't quite figured out how the priest administered it to his victims. It didn't matter. He had followed the Code and had checked his bases. He knew this man was guilty.
He walked calmly into the store. THe shopkeeper's blank eyes met his, they looked at him but saw nothing. "Hello. How may I help you today. We have a fine selection of Hoodoo herbs and charms."
"Actually I was looking for a curse."
The shopkeeper's welcoming smile faded. "We do not do that here. That is dark magic."
"You don't understand" Dexter replies and slips the man some money. "I was looking for a death curse and I heard you were the best."
Flipping through the money in his hands, the man answered. "alright follow me" and led him into the backroom. "So who is it that you want cursed?" He said. Failing to notice, the needle coming down. Feeling the prick in his neck only too late as he blacked out.

"Wake up." The shopkeeper heard the words and slowly came to. He couldn't see what was around him but he could feel the plastic binding him./
"Who are you? What do you want? Please. If you let me go I can give you money."
"It's not money I'm after. It's satisfaction. As far as who am I, the better question is who are you?" Dexter walks around his victim. Even with the man's pupils clouded over, he can see the fear growing within them. "I know you poisoned those people. I just don't know how."
"It wasn't me. It was the spirits. I only cast the curse. They are the ones who take their toll from those people."
"I'm sure your clients believe that Mr. Sensio but I'm not so gullible. how did you do it."
The man's features blanked over for a moment. "I put it in their food. Made it look like a heart attack. Now will you let me go?"
"I can't do that." Dexter replies. "It's been a long time since I've gotten to hunt and I didn't come all this way to just let you go."
And with that the knife came down...
