One that may be as impossible to answer as the matter of how the traitor managed to plug himself in and out of the Matrix to have a steak dinner and negotiate terms. But I digress.

I notice that Neb and SomethingClever don't like opening posts. Why not? They are a part of the game. If they provide insufficient stepping stones most of the time, then, so much more important to get them right in order to make them count. I didn't bandwagon? I think someone made a joke FOS on two people and he voted for one and I voted the other (still joke voting anyway). Does that count as bandwagoning?

What really makes me suspicious is when a player keeps silent, even though he logs in to take turns in games. Perhaps the best tactic if you want to stay in a Mafia game is to say nothing, and let the others tear each other's posts apart. But if you want the town to win, shouldn't you try to take part in uncovering Mafia? Hm.

Day one is tough. Not much evidence to look at. But a no-lynch is a win for the Mafia, for reasons explained many times. So when you have to lynch on day one, I say it is best to take the silent guy. Just as much chance that he is Mafia as anyone else, maybe more. And you keep the people who talk and liven up the conversation.
