That possibility was already ruled out with this question (I think):
Campin_Killer wrote:Is he from the Western Hemisphere? (Assuming Britain is included in the Western Hemisphere)

Campin_Killer wrote: Like, Western Hemisphere as in: West of the median in Britain

x-raider wrote:4. Is he from the Western Hemisphere? No

It doesn't seem like they are being strategically thought through, if you know the game very well. And a lot of them you should be able to infer some of the answers. Such as does he have a unusual occupation. Not sure what that gains the group.
Artist? It narrows down maybe 2% of the population. 6 questions have been used to narrow his profession alone.

3 questions were wasted on years, and there's still a 300 year range. This could have been a little more efficient.

Vague and answer could be misleading.

You have a lot of opinions on other peoples questions but never ask any yourself. There's nothing wrong with criticism provided it's constructive, but the way you present them makes you sound awfully arrogant.
You have all the opportunity in the world to show us mere mortals what a good question is. Do that for a change.

And spoil all my fun? I'm not trying to be arrogant, I'm trying to help improve questions being asked to further as a group. I don't get on here to often, tho more lately than normal. So I'd have asked one or two questions and the group would be asking the rest. If I ask two questions out of 20 but the rest aren't as helpful as needed, there wouldn't be much point to me asking questions.

People tend to adopt good lines of questioning when they see them. Provided that your questions are any good that is.
Fire ahead and we'll see.
A good question often divides the options into two, that way regardless of what the answer is you'll get a lot of info out of it. Sometimes it can be good to ask a tricky question to try to lure out a clue, like "I can't answer that" or "I don't know". The question won't count because he can't asnwer yes or no. But the fact that he can't answer yes or no might tell you something. And sometimes you just have to go with your gut. At least that's how I reason about this whole thing.

I'd like to revive this. I'm thinking of something, it doesn't need to be a person,
show
ask me a yes or no question and if after 20 questions no one has been able to guess what I'm thinking of, I'll spill the right answer.
