My book is published by Chambers, 1992, and written by Alison Jones (no relation)

i have just found St Rose, patron saint of "peru, the New World, India, florist, and gardeners". Feast day 23rd August.

I like the idea of a patron saint of atheists. I'll have a browse and come up with a suggestion or two if I get a spare hour.
