The nice thing about English is that it's very flexible. There is rarely just one correct way to say something; most of the time you can choose from many equally-valid alternatives.
But on this I think you should trust me. I spent seven years editing political newsletters, back in the days before computers, when we had to pay typesetters by the word, and devising ways to say the same thing in fewer words is something I'm very good at. Nowadays people are lazy, they can copy and paste entire encyclopeadias, and word economy is rare. But it's still worth practising. People have a short attention span, and the fewer words your description uses, the more likely it is to be well-recieved.
