This is a copy of my new map idea... CTF!
I know I have HORRIBLE drawing sklls but this is only a rough draft.
Here are some of the rules:
+6 auto deploy on each flag
+5 auto deploy on the tower
+1 for one flag
+3 for 2 flags
+6 for 3 flags
+10 for 4 flags
+15 for 5 flags
Victory for all flags
O9 and O10 can bombard all OT's and so on for all 5 other colors
Tower can bombard all NM terits
NM terits lose 1 army per turn
+1 for every terit in your starting base
+1 for every 2 terits in your color (OT's, PT's and so on)
+2 for every terit in anothers base
+1 for every terit in others colors (OT's, PT's, and so on)
+1 for every 3 NM terits
+5 for the following combos:
blue/green
red/yellow
purple/orange
+15 for the following combos
yellow/green/orange
purple/blue/red

Definetly a rough draft, open to any and all ideas.

Don't worry about coding/XML until you've got a decent/working image... without a useable image, all the XML in the world isn't going to help you

The mapmaking tools (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1410&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a) has a list of downloadable graphics programs... your best bet is to choose one of them and then use google to try and find some tutorials to help
