You know, you can actually use some short names, not the really long ones.

I am generally not in favor of small simple maps, so I will not comment on the gameplay.

i agree with the font change and the name change(at least make some abbreviations)

i think you should add some type of special feature, like bombardment
are you sure this map isn't to big, i think it is, and if it is a would fix that now

all i have for now
i will be back later

There is no need for abbreviations, you simply chose bad names.

Republic of Krim? Krim has not been separate from us for WAY too long to say that. Secondly, there is no "s" in "Republica"
Odes'ka? It is Odessa. Stop adding 'ka at the end of everything

Your names need changing. Don't abbreviate if you don't need to have a long name to be accurate.

This map doesn't feel very 'ukraine' to me. It certainly is colorful and smooth though. Good start, but nothing really sets this map apart.

First of all, Peon relax, you fire at the right things with the wrong ammunition...
If you have checked the map he's been using to make this map you would see that the 'ka where all there and he just copied them...

I think that the best thing to do is not to write the names using english letters, but use the ukranian letters which are readable to people that can read english... You can use this map of Ukraine (after you click on the ukranian falg in the upper left corner the manes will be displayed in ukranian letters) and this ukranian keyboard to do so... I think that that will this map much much better, at least in my eyes...

Can a mod do this to his comment

But on topic I think the minimap is ugly and should be changed and I don't feel like 8 player games would be good on this map...

I think "Kyiv" is generally spelled "Kiev"
I would suggest using "Crimean Peninsula" instead of "Simferopol." But I might just be being picky since I have been to the Crimean Peninsula many times but never been to Simferopol.

Other than that, I think you'll be fine. Never been to the eastern and western portions of Ukraine, so you might want to do a population check on those cities. If the population is really small, might want to use something else in the general region.

Well the diffrence is what language you use... if you use russian you should spell you should spell Kiev, if you use ukranian you should spell Kiyv... different languages different pronanciation... if you want to call something crimean peninsula, just have in mind that this map will have no feeling of ukraine.

If you'll give me time I can write the names for you, so you can copy paste it...

Yeah, that was my bad. I have not spoken Ukrainian for a long time. Use Russian these days. Not many Ukrainian people living in the U.S.

i like dis map alot. I would defentaly play on it. But im just noticing some small errors, like yellow sticking out past the borders of Simferopol. And the texture of Russia and Romania dont look good on this type of map. But you got a really good start! :D
