You can modify them if you wish Danyael, though I'm not sure you'll be able to see the change if your colour change, depending on the severity of your colour blindness I guess.

alright its taking awhile....... To do this i have spent alot of time on it to make it look as close to spain as i can
Please note
things to do
crop
this will be the texture of the map
i will be adding the political borders soon
canary isl. will be inset will be place in bottom left corner and legend on lower right corner
title top right
I think routes will work best because i think its might be a shame to gray scale this one
but i'll try it out both ways

but i thought everyone can see so far

Nice! It's not what I was thinking but no matter. If you like, you could try this thing I was thinking of, basicly, make the shape of the territory (over the area) then, make the fill of the shape semi-transperent with the continental colour. Just an idea, but I'll post this up on the front page.

Hmmmm... I'm not a fan of routes (unless on Islands), but I've got to better be open minded on these things :) . So I can't wait to see the later updates :D.

Also, I'm renovating the main front page so it may be a bit bare.

Wow!

Nice graphic.... ;)

Few quick suggestions:

  • The map is 1px too wide
  • I assume that this is the large version of your map...the playable area is very compressed, cut some white border and make it larger. You'll nedd a small "playable" version.

I'm happy to see a so clear first post =D>

I'll back when the borders/names come...

Good work...

I am not sure how territory borders are going to look with the current texture, maybe lower the paint brush affect.

with is being the texture there is a few step to do before it place the border etc on but then its gray scaled for relief (so you cant see the the beauty of this one
as well i did this all with the paintbrush on artrage2 so its hard lower something that is not just an effect

if you look at the newsletter you can see a rough look at what the outcome will kinda look like but it will be a lot better
and yes 100% computer
i like artrage because the cursors flow the same style as real life
so i do my pictures there then bring in over on photoshop

Wait. We didn't put anything of yours in the News Letter, what do you speak of, or is it not the foundry news letter?

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. As a piece of art, however. I truly hope you can translate this into a CC map, it looks fantastic!

Wonderful ! =D>

This map is growing day by day....

Actually you have to focus on this:

To be considered a Working Draft a project must be more than just an idea; a Draft should have a clear thematic focus, a plan for how the gameplay will work, and a basic image which should include:

1. Territory Labels - temporary names or numbers will suffice, and are always open to change.
2. Borders/Paths/Impassables - it should be made clear where territories do/do not connect.
3. Bonus Areas - where combinations/groups of territories will award a bonus, this should be indicated on the map.
4. Legend - speculative bonus values and explanations of any attack rules or gameplay features.

Draft images should not be larger than 630x600px (small image) or 840x800px (large image).

When your map has met all these requirements, could be moved in the drafting room.
So it will have all the visibility it deserves.

Good work ;)

I have to say it s a beautiful map so far, with a problem, its far too similar to iberia. I think however that this is preferable to that map based on what i can i see because it looks great, I just think it needs to look more mediteranian, more like spain really.

Also the orange needs to be merged as having it on its own is nopt really good gameplay wise i think. However you could make cities a bonus maybe, so Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao and Seville.
