Thanks. That should solve all the complaints about unrandom cubes.

When there is an auto attack, does the program pick out the entire sequence at once? If so, how does it know how many throws to get? e.g. I just auto attacked with 17 against 9. If it had turned out that I had not lost any, there would only need to be 44 numbers (8 3v2s and a 3v1). As it did turn out, we ended up down to 2 each (ouch). That means it needed about 55 numbers, give or take. Did the program just take out about 55 numbers when I hit auto attack, and then would have not used the last 11 if I had smoked the other guy?

These new dice y'all have given us are a fucking joke. When I cant win 6v3 or even 10v2, that's bull shit. Give back the dice where attackers had the advantage of the defenders like it should be.

Nope, it reads from the sequence one at a time as needed.

6v3 = ~77% odds to win.

Ergo 23% odds to lose.

Still to lose it in every single game? Something is wrong here, and to lose double digits v single digit stacks, is absolutely ridiculous.

OK, so that means that even before you changed it to start from random places in the file, it wouldn't really have been possible to use a huge auto to find out most of the sequence, because it could have been interrupted by other attacks happening in those same split seconds. Right?

That's what I figured, but some people claimed otherwise earlier in this post. Better safe than sorry, right? :)

I've noticed a difference. It appears that when attacking from stack-to-stack, there is less of a benefit than before. I don't know anything about the coding y'all are talking about, but I do know that there is a clear difference in results. Where before I could attack 75 v 50 and be reasonably assured of victory, I haven't seen that result in approximately 30 stack attacks I've made since the change. I know that is an incredibly small sample, and I have no method for verifying for you all, but perchance someone can do some comparisons to see if there is a difference?

Edit: Just attacked a 19 v 3. I won, but ended up with 6 remaining armies. I'll keep editing here and posting some example results.
-10 v 1. Lost all armies. 2:30 6-29-10
-8 v 1. Lost all armies. 2:43 6-29-10

Keep a dice analysis using dice analyzer and the dice streaks. That may be more reliable than random updates.

That would require powers and abilities that this mere mortal does not possess.

I've tried before. They are nice and very helpful. Unfortunately, despite 3 laptops in the house, none of them support the various scripts nor some of the other add ons that others find so useful!!!!

(But, you're right, it will be a pain in the buttocks to come back here to edit the post.)

Well you need to install firefox, then install greasemonkey, then you can run scripts. It shouldn't be that hard. Some of the tech guys can take you through it step by step.

Yeah, I remember you having some problems with Firefox. Which makes me wonder, did you ever try installing plugins in Chrome?

And coming back to the subject:
The dice are not fully random (just think about it, the chance you hit exactly the same dice isn't 1/(6*6*6*6*6) for 5 dice, but slightly higher since you know it exists somewhere in the file, the chance of not existing in the file is 0. In totally random cases this should have a chance).
But that is an extremely small effect, and the dice are totally unpredictable now, which was the larger concern. It won't stop people complaining about the dice, but it will certainly pass almost all of the random tests I can think off.

The new dice program is the worst and most unfair and is seriously making playing the game not very much fun, because the dice runs are either so hot or so cold that the dice and not strategy is determining the games. I never complained about the dice before, but the difference on both ends is so definitely noticeable and for me troubling. I am not the only one feeling this way, and speaking for only myself, if this continues much longer I will be leaving. Please return us to the dice program that has been proven over 7 million games and that has grown CC to where it is today. I can not express enough my frustration

It only means that previous set seemed to favor attacker more. Now it is completely random.

Yup,i've gotta say i have more balanced dice now.

Yes,i have some streaky bad dice but i would say i'm getting streaky good dice in equal proportion and in general attacker seems to be coming out on top.

Now,to a guy like me whom was renowned for "shatdicetm" the changes have definitely made CC a more rewarding experience.I know it's probably far too early to make a call on the new "cubes"...but i'm liking what i'm seeing so far.

I will give an update on my opinion in a couple of months.

Wow, some of you need to go take a math class. Unless you were somehow cheating before, the new system DOES NOT AFFECT YOU AT ALL. Period.

Agreed. I for one haven't noticed a difference at all. If I didn't frequent the forums, I wouldn't even be aware that a change had occurred.
