We also added a handy [search tournaments] link that will take you to the Tournament Finder.

the search tournaments is now worse than it was. the tournaments tab feature doesnt give you game numbers and now you have to type the name of the tournament in game finder instead of scrolling for it from the drop down box.qwerts suggestion was way better than this and this is gonna make tournament hosting a lot more difficult.

I would really like a luck tally at the end of each turn/round.
So in a hypothetical 3 player game with Player_A, Player_B, Player_C the game log may appear:

2011-05-25 18:01:55 - Player_C ended the turn and got spoils
2011-05-25 18:01:55 - Turn Luck: Player_A (+0%), Player_B (+7%), Player_C (-7%)
2011-05-25 18:01:55 - Incrementing game to round 5
2011-05-25 18:01:55 - Round 5 Luck: Player_A (+1%), Player_B (+2%), Player_C (-3%)

And perhaps a total luck tally at the end of the game.

2011-05-25 19:32:47 - Player_B won the game
2011-05-25 19:32:47 - Player_A lost 15 points and had (+3%) Luck
2011-05-25 19:32:47 - Player_C lost 17 points and had (-1%) Luck
2011-05-25 19:32:47 - Player_B gained 15 points and had (-2%) Luck

Nice update with the dice stats. But seriously, the old method for finding tournaments in the game finder was MUCH better and quicker.

I really like this new feature. I usually dont have an issue with the dice, sometimes they are good sometimes bad, just the way it is...but this is nice to be able to see.

I think this would be a good addition at the end of the game, but i dont think it would be good at the end of each round, I think it would make it easier in fog games to estimate what your opponent has left.

If done it could be obscured by fog till the end of the game.

I think this could be getting into too much data...if there is ever such a thing! We'll see if we revisit Dice Stats in the future with another update.

Also not liking the tournament searching.

I'm not sure what the other suggestions were but I think the drop down box should all Active tournaments and then have a check box to include finished (completed/abandoned/etc) in the drop down.

Or maybe two separate drop downs if need be.

I'd like to see the stats broken down by games. After a game, I'd like to see how the dice affected the outcome of that particular game. Broken down by each player.

Finding Tournament Games

The huge tournament picklist in the Game Finder had to go. It make it very difficult to select a tournament and added hundreds of kilobytes to the page! Now you can type in part of the tournament name to find matching games. We also added a handy [find games] link to the on the Tournament Finder so you can get tournamnet games from that route as well.

you've made it worse. game finder is useless now.

if i type in a partial for the tournament i want it will give me the games from every tournament ever to have that partial in the name.

You can do this, can't you, via the Tournament Finder? In the Tournaments Tab, in the Tournament Finder, you can use the partial to find all tournaments that match your entry, and then you can select the games you want, via the [Find Games] for the Tournament.

I haven't read all posts in this topic, but I agree with greenoaks, this is terrible and not a solution. You'll get a lot of complaints from TOs.

The way you describe Andy, you can NOT search for selected games or rounds, you get them all.

Can't we have the original search list somewhere on a separate page or something?
