I find it hilarious how people manage to complain about every single update.

lack could update the site by putting a 1 squared pixel dot on the bottom right of every page where you literally have to scroll all the way down to see it on the very bottom right corner, and people would complain: "Can I get a 'turn off black dot' switch?"

You can turn them off in the forum settings, together with forum avatars.

I'd like to disable the wall as well. I hate wall posts, I'd much rather people just pm me than post on my wall. It's so facebook-y.

Can I have a way to disable the avatars that show up? I think that makes it clunky and wastes space.

I didn't say there was a problem. There isn't a problem. I was just trying to understand why you find the wall to be such a burden that you would hope that lackattack would spend time to make it optional. I guess I should have asked directly, "Why do you go to your profile if not to look at your wall?" It is really the only reason I do it. It was not my intention to irk you, although that seems to have been the result.

Natty seems to have read my mind better than I can and answered my question.

From my perspective, at those times when I do think about my score or my win rate, the single data point on the profile is not enough for me. I like the history that Map Rank gives me.
And I am too much of an inbox packrat, so I usually have to decide which PM has to be deleted before I can bring in a new one. I like the wall for quick reminders to check the chat in a team game, and this will only be better with BBCode enabled, since now a game link can be posted, rather than just a number that I have to track down myself.

This is okay, but it turns off avatars on all the forums as well. It might be nice to separate the two features, or even to implement a phpBB mod that I think is out there which puts tiny avatars on the wall. Best of all possible worlds would be a choice of wall avatars: Large, small, off.

so if there is 1 wall post i want to keep out of hundereds i have to delete them all one at a time.

what a pointless update.

expanding the wall to show 10 or 20 at a time and check boxes beside them to allow us to select which to delete just like pm's would have been a great update.

If we can have a suggestions topic collecting all the wall suggestions, Dako can look into producing another update in the future. The suggestions I've seen so far that could be included in a suggestions topic:

Option to turn off wall completely
Option to turn off wall avatars only
Option to show more wall posts per page / or expand
Checkboxes to delete, in case you wanted to keep certain items that would be deleted in a mass deletion

Nice update - thing is - "Empty Wall" option seemed to be there for me to click on other user's walls - I hope it wouldn't have worked if I had accidentally done so
