Thanks! Anyone else know of any good tutorials for GIMP newbies? I really need help understanding the basics as this is the first graphics program I've ever worked with.

Thanks! Anyone else know of any good tutorials for GIMP newbies? I really need help understanding the basics as this is the first graphics program I've ever worked with.

Here are some:

• http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=466&t=109958 I learned how to make basic land and other things from this tutorial. Unfortunately, the pictures are gone, so it will be a bit more difficult to follow.
• http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/ These aren't for cartography, but you can learn a thing or two about gimp here.
• http://gimp-tutorials.net/ I have not personally used these, but they look useful.
• http://www.cartographersguild.com/forumdisplay.php?48-Tutorials-How-To I am not exactly sure if these are for beginners, but they could be useful in the future.
• http://www.youtube.com/ http://www.google.com/ A search engine and youtube are the most helpful resources I have ever used. You can just search anything you need a tutorial for, and there is one almost 90% of the percent of the time.
