Hong Kong's Honourable Knights Winner: kiwi3

Basically this tournament is a really abstract way of simulating diplomatic strain. Every turn, the territories you are allowed attacking is predetermined. Anyone who breaks one of the rules will forfeit their points for that match.

Games will be Foggy, No spoils, Manual, Sequential, Adjacent.

Games will be 8 player games, handed out 3 at a time. After every round, the 2 people with the lowest scores will be eliminated. When down to the final 8, one person is eliminated per match. If the eventual winner has not won 3 games by then, the top 4 will play 4 wild card spots and another elimination round will be setup.

Points are calculated by the formula: (2*#Players - Position - #of turns past limit) = Points.

The order for which territories you are allowed attacking goes by the following order.
Round 1: No Attacks (only reinforcement allowed)
Round 2: New Territories, Kowloon, Plover Cove
Round 3: New Territories, Sai Kung, Hong Kong
Round 4: New Territories, Kowloon, Sai Kung, Plover Cove
Round 5: Kowloon, Sai Kung, Hong Kong, Lantau
Round 6: New Territories, Kowloon, Sai Kung, Plover Cove
Round 7: New Territories, Sai Kung, Hong Kong
Round 8: New Territories, Kowloon, Plover Cove, Lantau
Round 9: Free for All
Round 10: Free for All

Round 11: Any game not won by this point loses points at one per turn, as per the formula. The rule remains free for all

EDIT: As this can be considered a niche product in the tournament landscape, the games will be handed out one at a time to allow freemiums. There will still be 3 games between eliminations until down to the final 8. Also, it is possible that the turn strain is too tough for no spoils. In that case, after round 1 the game will become escalating spoils. The final 8 elimination will once again be no spoils.

Won my game in round 16. So I score 10 points by the formula, or 9?

I admit it isn't very clear. Since everybody like high numbers, I set the precedent at 10.

Well our current game has gone to round 22 with no winner. We need to go back to Manual or go to Escalating, or there will be a lot of low-score games.

I see you've already thought of that.

Ok. Faro is in. In case anyone is wondering what is going on. The last game 3 has been created. This round will end up being a practice round. Next round, regular eliminations will begin. I am eliminating myself. We are switching to escalating and 3 games at a time. Sorry about the mess up to this point, but things will change after this game is done.

Round 2 is a go. Please everyone make sure you are in 3 Round 2 Games. The last game of Round 1 is still ongoing, but all players have qualified for Round 2. Ideally with the games 3 at a time, we won't have the same dropout rate from now on.
