This is the Singles tournament. To sign up as a triples team, please go to the Triples thread HERE (link). Remember you can only sign up for one of the tournaments, so think carefully!
The disclaimer being over, please get ready for Germany 2011, and make sure you have plenty of fun taking part! This year we are bringing to you the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in the form of CC's Special Event. You have to work your way through our special World Cup map and leave your opponents by the wayside in order to become the CC World Cup Champion and take the coveted trophy!

Game Type: Standard
Initial Troops: Automatic
Play Order: Sequential
Spoils: Escalating
Reinforcements: Chained
Fog of War: No
Round Length: Casual
Setup
Tournament is open to 128 players and consists of 3 stages - Preliminary Stage, Group Stage and Knockout Stage. Preliminary and Group Stages are round robins and Knockout Stage is an 8-player bracket where best of 5 games will decide advancing to next round. Preliminary round is made of 5 rounds where you will be playing everybody in your group twice and winner of each group advances to next stage. In Group Stage everybody will play 3 games, once against every other player in their group. Top 2 of each group will advance to Knockout Stage which consists of 3 rounds: Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and Finals.
Structure
Scoring & Tiebreakers
Winner of the tournament will receive 12 months Premium membership. He/she will also be rewarded with a General Achievement Medal and a place in Game 10 million. 2nd and 3rd places will also receive a General Achievement Medal and a place in Game 10 million. Prizes have been donated by the Multi-Hunters and Entertainment Teams.

- For each game you win, you'll earn 3 points. Losing a game gives you 0 points. There are no draw games.
- In case of a tie at the end of Preliminary/Group Stage, the number of rounds will come handy and the player who won their games in less rounds advances (goals).
- Points/goals will not be carried on from one stage to the next.

Notes
- If you do not post a preferred country on sign up then your post will be ignored. If you provide a country which has already taken, you will be assigned randomly to an available choice.
- If player signs up to both tournament then he/she will be automatically removed from the 1v1 tournament.
- This tournament is part of Official 2011 CC Women's World Cup Event.
- Everybody receives 2 invites for joining games. After missing 2 invites player will be replaced by a reserve.
- Any issues will be solved by the tournament organisers and their word is final.
