Kings Trench Dubs series #1 : Classic (Winners = Team 3)
Posted: Tue Sep 11, 2012 11:15 pmI have wanted to start a series of tournaments for a long time now, and I thought that a trench dubs series would be fun.
I will keep the tourneys comming until 8 different teams has 2 tourney wins, and those 8 teams will meet in a grand finale tourney.
But there is no point in stopping after 2 victories, because the seeds in the grand finale will come from numbers of victories in the series, and in the grand finale there will be 5 games series for each round (2 winning maps for each team and 1 random), and if youre team has won more then 2 maps, you can choose which maps you want as youre home maps.
I have changed the seeding rules in the grand finale to this formula : Tourneys won x tourneys won percentage (so if you play 10 and win 2, the score will be 2x0,2 = 0,4) that will atleast make it a bit more fair for all.
Anyhow here are the settings (and they will be like this for the whole series) :
Single elimination, 1 game pr round
Map - Classic
Game Type - Doubles
Play Order - Sequential
Troop Deployment - Automatic
Spoils - no spoils
Reinforcements - Chained
Special Gameplay - no fog, trench
Round Limit - 20 Rounds
The draw will be decided by random.org
