I decided to take the advice of others and add a cap to the games. I added the following to the rules:

There will be a cap of 40 rounds for each game. If the cap is reached, all players still alive will split the available points (ie. 2 players left - both get 8 points; 3 players left - each gets 6 1/3 points; 4 players left - each gets 5 points).

Still looking for 6 more players.

No standings update yet since no one has been eliminated from any games. I do plan on updating the standings pretty regularly (at least once a day hopefully).

All games started without needing any reserves (thanks everyone!). Here's a quick summary of where we're are so far:

Games in Round 2 - 9
Games in Round 3 - 7
Games in Round 4 - 6
Games in Round 5 - 2

Just 6 games ongoing in Round 1. Shouldn't be long before we start Round 2.

Game 8924218 ....... k, Check gamechat, greenoaks proposed a truce with xman5151. As a result, I tried to take out xman and he had 1 territory left that I could not access. (Fine, how the game roles:) ) However... when greenoaks took his turn, he took out xman first.

This is at the very least, very unsportsmanlike. Anyway, as a result, would you please give xman5151 2nd place and me, 3rd place in that game? I deserve 3rd place for not being able to take xman out and greenoaks should have taken me out first as a matter of good sportsmanship. Thanks!

I appreciate the honestly and willingness to take a lesser spot in the standings for that game. I thought about it and decided I'm going to leave the result as is. Strange things can happen in this game, whether intentional or unintentional and I don't think I should be left to make a judgement on whether someone deserves to be placed higher or lower because of an oddball circumstance.

Also, I don't think it would be fair to others in the tournament if I move xman5151 up just because someone else in the tournament thinks he deserves to get 2nd instead of 3rd in a game. Giving him extra points could result in someone else not making the next round based on a decision that is probably questionable.
