Bringing a Friend Along
This is actually a 32-player tournament at Round 1. 16 people sign up in the tournament topic, and before Round 1 starts, get a friend on board as their Doubles partner. All who advance have to find NEW friends for Round 2 and Round 3. In other words, if you get brought in as a friend and your team advances, you're in the tournament proper, and need to Bring a Friend Along to play.

If me & my partner win in round 1 we both advance and have to pick new friends and here is where my question comes in can we pick players who lost in round 1 or are they now ineligible and we have to pick new friends who haven't already played.
You CAN pick someone who was eliminated in Round 1, as technically speaking come Round 2 they are no longer in the tournament. The same follows for Round 2 going into Round 3.
If the above is confusing, ask questions and I'll explain it better.
