After a 26-round marathon in Group G, Round 7 has finally concluded.

This round, we say goodbye to another 6 players:
Arya
BunnRee
chapcrap
DoomYoshi
st03457
Night Strike

EDIT: Arya's withdrawal from the tournament means that traffic133, who would have been eliminated in Round 7, instead gets to fight on!

The remaining 36 players have been split into six groups for one last round before we move on to the Elite Four. This round is the first of five rounds in which each group will play five games.
So let's get to it!

I have edited the first post to clarify how I will be awarding points for games decided by round limit or objective.
Just FYI.

The last Gym Leader Round has finally concluded!
This round, we lose 6 more players - including, most unfortunately, yours truly.

30 players advance to take on the first of the Elite Four trainers: the icy temptress, Lorelei.
Good luck, and dress warm!

And now that game is done.

The first Elite Four battle is over, and 6 of our players met their match in that icy temptress, Lorelei, leaving 24 players to progress.
Next up, Bruno, the master of Fighting-type Pokémon! I hope you're all ready for his ground assault!

Round 10 is now complete. 18 players remain to take on that guru of ghastly ghosts, Agatha!
Who will be able to face their fear, and who will succumb to the scary sights? We shall see...

Now that that one Draknor game has finally finished, we are ready to move on to the penultimate round of this tournament - the last of the Elite Four: Lance.
12 will enter, but only 6 will advance to face the dreaded rival Gary.
Good luck.

Thank you, good friend sir.

At long last, we are down to six players and ready to begin the final round!

But before we begin, let's have a hand for our six finalists:

Charle
f.o.b.
jpk
nattyniz
steven the great
Theldin

I think it worth noting that all six of our finalists have been in this tourney since Round 1. Last in, first out?

I will make one slight change to Tupence's original plan for this round: the seven games will each have a 100-round limit.

Good luck to all six of you in the 13th and final round!!

All Final Round games have completed.

Congratulations to Charle, who earned 217 points and has earned the title of CC Pokémon Master!!
Congratulations also to all of our finalists, who made a very tough battle of it, and many thanks to all of those who participated.
