because we already won the round vs them! (started all 3 games, good guesses on the drops + good dice..)
this was the last round of phase 1 and you guys are eliminated, so no need for replacements or anything krikee.

on group A there is no more suspense, the 2 teams advancing are pack and otp1. sorry for the teams that were doing good and had a little hope (a couple of teams could ve advanced if we had lost and they had won).

As already said, group A is already decided; OTP1 (7-0) and PACK (6-1) advance to the final, all remiing games are just for points, honour and medal hunting unique kills! (we will have to take our revenge in the finals freakns!!! lol)
Group B has TNC in the finals no matter what; second place is between TOFU1 who just needs to win this round; WAR and FISO need to win and to see TOFU1 lose, and also see if they can win on "goal average". There could be a triple tie for the 2nd place, but it will be hard to keep TOFU1 out of the finals!

romanians are latin and not slavs so i'm fine with that!

anyway, just as a reminder: those round wins from round 1 will be brought to the final round worth 1 point each, but winning a round in the finals is worth 2 points each as stated in kingm's rules. Nevertheless, after talking to him it remains a bit unclear about tiebreaks.

would you guys agree on this?

-first are counted round points (round 1=1pt final round=2pts all added up)
-in case of tie in round points, head to head round confrontation will count first
-in case of another tie (one team won round 1, the other team won the final round, and this could only happen for tofu vs tnc as it's impossible for us to tie in round points vs OTP); games won will prevail.

Personally I've always felt the W/L difference was more important than the head-to-head and would make that the 2nd deciding factor.

You could have two teams that have each won every game except one. One of the teams won 12 of their games 3-0 and their only loss was 1-2. The other team won 12 of their matches 2-1 and lost one match 0-3.

Team A, 20pts, W37 L2 (net +35)

Team B, 20pts, W24 L15 (net +9)

Yet Team A lose because their head-to-head with Team B was their only loss, 1-2

that brings us back to football. In the french league, if 2 teams have the same number of points at the end of the season, the one with the best goal average wins. In the spanish league, the team with the most points in head to head wins. in the italian league, they play a tiebreaker (don't know how it's done in premiership?)
looks like I'm going for the spanish solution and cof for the french solution. would like to hear what freakns and ckyrias think (freakns will have an impartial judgement as it's impossible for his team to tie with anyone)

for the record, here are the scores:

OTP1: 16-5
Pack: 14-6 (looking like it will end 15-6)
TOFU: 14-4 (16-5?)
TNC: 14-4 (15-6?)

we're all pretty close anyway, and I guess head to head & overall win/loss will probably give the same winner.

im fine with anything... h2h looks to me like most common one

goal difference is the most common one (if you're comparing football leagues)

another solution which would change quite much the finals, but that I even prefer would be o make it playoff style in the finals.

do we really need to re-face each other? this would save us all 1 round.

I'm happy with that idea. Best-of-3 semi-finals, yes? For final I'd also stick to best-of-3 (5 of these games is a lot!)
