Neither war nor life is fair... nor are the dice or the drop.
But there are a few things we can do to make wins depend more on strategy than luck.
FAIR START: In this tournament both players start the same number of games.
WIN by TWO: And we play at least 6 games per match so you have a better shot at overcoming any unlucky drops/dice.

This is a 1v1 bracket tournament of 16 players.
1. Each match will feature at least 6 games where each player starts 3.
2. When the games begin I will take note of which games you got to go first in and will send additional invites as needed until each player has started at least THREE games.
You will end up playing in some games that don't count toward the match… BUT those games might come into play before the match is over!
3. Since we are playing an even number of games this means you must win by two. You have to "break your opponent's serve" in order to win.

However, we can't drag this out forever (until the final!) so…
IF the match is tied after 10 games played (that count), the FIRST game played that didn’t count YET determines the match.

In the FINAL, there is no tiebreaker – the champion must win by 2.

PREMIUM ONLY
Due to the number of games.

FORFEIT RULE
You will have 48 hours to accept invites for each round - this means you have 2 chances to accept an invite.
If you fail to accept twice you will either be replaced by a reserve (in the first round) OR your opponent automatically wins and advances (after the first round).

12 HOUR FOG RULE
Please allow your opponent a 12 hour opportunity to see the map before you start your turn if you get to go first.

FINE PRINT
As tournament director I reserve the right to deny entry to particularly obnoxious or low-rated people or those who have deadbeat in a previous tournament... just in case.

I'm in - but would like to know which maps? If it's WinbyTwo on Hive for example then scratch my name from the list immediately.
