We're filled up! harvmax and Swanster will be reserves. Will also keep an eye on The Wandering1 since he's a new recruit... Just 1 game away from a proper CC rank, but he might miss his turn in his games, from what I checked.

Update

With Round 1A being completed for a while now, Round 1B has 14 of its 16 matchups already complete, sealing the fate of 14 players who will not be continuing in the tournament any longer. The winners from this round will be moving on to Round 2B where they will play in doubles pairings.

Meanwhile, the players in Round 2A - consisting of the winners from Round 1A - are still fighting it out in their randomly assigned pairs. 4 players have already booked their spot in Round 3, while their defeated opponents will have to try their luck again in Round 2B.

Update

Since Round 1B is complete, and Round 2A is mostly complete except for 2 ongoing games, I've created the matchups for Round 2B and sent out the games. If your game is missing player(s) in the invites, then the player you're awaiting is still playing a match in Round 2A.

Also as a gentle reminder, winners of matchups in Round 2A will be moving directly to Round 3, and will have to wait till Round 2B is done to continue with the next set of games.

Update

Round 2B is mostly complete, with just 1 game still running. That means 2 spots in Round 3 are still unclaimed. However, the rest of the groups that are already filled shall commence with their games first. Remember, there are a total of 3 terminator games this round within the same group. You need to be within the top 2 players with the most number of kills. Winning a game does NOT give bonus points.

For those interested in how the groupings for Round 3 were formed: each group consists of 2 random players advancing from Round 2A, and another 2 random players advancing from Round 2B. Incidentally, random.org managed to do it such that all partners are no longer in the same group.

Update
Five groups have now completed their first game of Round 3. Of these, only 1 has not resulted in a clean sweep of kills. Remember, if you're losing the game, taking out a single player can still give you an advantage! One's better than none!

Also just a head's up, I will soon begin to send out games to the slower groups despite games not being finished as the other groups progress. Since only 1 remaining player is a freemium, and that player is in the fastest progressing group, I hope this won't be a problem for the rest!

Update

Group 6 has moved on to their third and final game for the round. The first two games for their group saw osujacket taking a clean sweep of the kills on both occasions. The rest of the players will have to claw their way to get a kill to fight their way into Round 4 of the tournament.

As stated before, the second games for the slower groups have thus been sent out, though two of them have yet to complete their first game of the round.

Finally, after failing to accept his game invitation twice, in addition to deadbeating out of his first game, ConquorD has been removed from the tournament. His replacement will be Vartiovuori, the opponent whom he defeated in Round 2A of the tournament. (The other player of the defeated double pairing is angola, who qualified for Round 3 through Round 2B.)

Update

Group 4 has also moved on to their third and final game. Theldin maintains his lead over there, while igotaished managed to sneak in a kill to get himself on the board in their group. As RISKMAN82 has deadbeated out of both their games thus far, and hasn't logged in for the last 2 days, he will be replaced by an opponent he defeated in Round 2A of the tournament - richman688. (The other player of the defeated double pairing is uckuki, who qualified for Round 3 through Round 2B.)

As of now, we have 4 groups on their 3rd game, and 4 on their 2nd game (including 1 still on their 1st as well). As soon as one of the 4 remaining groups move on to their 3rd game, I will be sending out the games to all the remaining groups as well, so we won't have so much waiting involved, moving into Round 4 of the tournament.

Update

Group 6 is the first to finish all 3 of their games, as osujacket quickly took home the win once again. However, benga managed to sneak in a kill, and thus slips into Round 4 of the tournament with just 1 kill under his belt! Unfortunately, that means it's the end of the road for qwertylpc and waauw.

On the other end of the spectrum, Group 8 managed to complete both their first (hooray!) and second game in quick succession. After a long game of patience and waiting, Aussie02 came out on top in their first game with 2 kills, while jimfinn managed to wrangle 1 for himself. The tables turned, however, when newcomer Vartiovuori came away with all 3 kills for their second game, giving himself an almost guaranteed spot in Round 4 of the tournament.

As mentioned before, as Group 8 is the fifth group progressing to their third game for the round, the remaining 3 groups will be given their third game as well.

Additionally, Theldin of Group 4 and Mizzou3181 of Group 7 have booked their spots in Round 4 of the tournament after winning the first 2 games of their respective groups, making their kill count unbeatable.

Update

Group 4 is now the second group to have completed all their games for the round. igotaished claimed the final 3 kills of the group, securing his spot in Round 4 alongside Theldin, while the rest of the group return with no blood on their hands.

In Group 2, though the last game is yet to be complete, the single elimination by slickstick on Enormastitz has all but sealed the qualifying spots for slickstick himself and cwinslow22, as their fellow competitors now have no way of catching up to either of their kill counts.

We continue to await the outcome of the battles of the other 5 groups, including 2 which still have their second games running alongside their third.

Update

Over the last week, most of the rest of the groups have concluded their last games, with players scrambling to book their berth in Round 4: Assassin. There weren't any ties to be broken, so these were easily given out based on the results. Groups 1 and 5 saw perhaps the most stiff competition of the lot, as swimmerdude99's final win in the third and final game vaulted him from dead last in his group to a tied first in Group 1, while Gilligan barely missed on a qualifying spot when slats789's card set snatched the all important final kill from Gilligan in Group 5's second game.

Only Group 3 still remains in the fray, as both their second and third games are still in progress.

With 14 out of the 16 progressing players being decided, I've chosen to let Round 4 commence.

Update

The games for Round 3 have just about finished, and we finally have the winners group Group 3 - uckuki and angola. With that, Round 4 is now fully under way with all invites sent. Remember that these aren't Standard games, but Assassin games.

In Round 4 news, the first game has been completed, with slickstick taking the win in Group 4 after taking out cwinslow22. He books himself a spot in the finals, and now awaits for the remaining 3 winners to take their place beside him.

Update

Round 4 comes to a quick close, as Aussie02, Theldin and uckuki squeezed themselves into the finals as well.

The odds are the same as Round 4, but the stakes are higher than before. The winner of this game takes home the tournament win! Good luck!

Update

Nearly 3 weeks after the final game started, the game has now drawn to a close, and a winner has emerged.

His journey to this point has been nothing but stellar.

He raced through Rounds 1 and 2, winning on his first attempts on 1v1 and Doubles, completely avoiding the losers bracket in Round 1B and 2B. In the Terminator round, he advanced as the top killer in his group, making 5 kills out of the maximum possible 9. He Assassinated his target in Round 4 before his opponents reached theirs, and finally, he dominated over his opponents in the Standard final game.

As such, I am pleased to announce Theldin as the winner of Jack Of All Trades: Classic [TPA3].

=D> =D> =D> Congratulations, Theldin! =D> =D> =D>
