We may have heard of Schrödinger's Cat but what about Schrödinger's Map

Image

Schrödinger's cat: a cat, a flask of poison, and a radioactive source are placed in a sealed box. If an internal monitor detects radioactivity (i.e. a single atom decaying), the flask is shattered, releasing the poison that kills the cat. The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics implies that after a while, the cat is simultaneously alive and dead. Yet, when one looks in the box, one sees the cat either alive or dead, not both alive and dead. This poses the question of when exactly quantum superposition ends and reality collapses into one possibility or the other.

This is a 1v1 double elimination tournament based on uncertainty. In the beginning all we know is that the maps are random.

At each stage I will issue the first map as a random. Once we know the map then all others in that turn will be the same. In the first round I will issue one game. When we see what map that is, then all other first round games will be the same map. When the first second chance game is issued (random), then all other first round second chance games will be that map. At each stage the first game issued will be random and determine the map for that round. This randomness will continue right to the end. So if the final is two games it will probably be two maps.

All games will be Auto, Seq, Flat, chained, Fog, Trench, 30 rounds

Looking for at least 32 players. (If interest is high I will let it go to 48 or 64.)

Freemiums are welcome as it will only be one game at a time per person.

48 hours max (invite issued twice) before you are dropped. Reserves used only in the first round.

All seedings by Challonge.org when the bracket is made.

The maps, as we know them, will be shown in this spreadsheet.
show: Maps as they reveal themselves

The bracket is randomized and all first round byes are by Challonge.org

Am I in or am I not? We will see when the quantum of this tournament collapses into the reality
