Jurassic Park is one of the greatest movies of all time (That's a fact, Jack). In celebration of Jurassic Park's 20 year anniversary they are re-releasing it to the big screens in 3D! It will be coming back to the movie theaters on April 5th, 2013. There is also talk of Jurassic Park 4 being released on the 13th of June 2014! It is a glorious time for Jurassic Park fans!

But, of course, you do not have to be a fan to sign up for the tournament!

The tournament will be a best of 3 games format advances to the the next round. There will be one quads played and two doubles games played per round. If you win 2 of the 3 team games you will move on. The teams of 4 people will be split up into doubles teams when you sign up for the tournament (specify when posting please)

Round 1 Maps
Quads: North America
Doubles: Central America and Island of Doom

Round 2 Maps
Quads: Central America
Doubles: San Francisco and Island of Doom

Round 3 (Finals) Maps
Quads: North America
Doubles: Central America and Island of Doom

Please have a team average of 1800 or more when signing up (exceptions can be made to well proven teams)

Map selections!

North America: I chose this map because movie number 1 starts out in Wyoming and moves to Costa Rica. Both of these are on this map. And both movie 2 and 3 involve the mainland United States and Costa Rica. Plus its a fun team game map.

Central America: This is a much closer look at Costa Rica where the Islands of Isla Sorna and Isla Nublar are located in their respective movies.

Island of Doom: As the name suggests Jurassic Park is considered by many to be just that, an Island of DOOM! Many good actors gave their lives to feed the hungry T-Rex and his mighty adversary the Velociraptor.

San Francisco: I know! I know! They went to San Diego in the second movie! But it was the closest thing and it is an enjoyable map to play, so just pretend it says San Diego

You're in! Ian Malcolm was the main character in the second and he did not die in the first. not sure who you are thinking of. I just read the book for Jurassic Park and have seen all the movies too many times to count. (I literally can't count over 500)

Thank you. Galex has 1 slot at the moment but he should have another free fairly soon I think.

Like Clive said, I only have 1 game free at the mo. Once I get 2 games free, I will keep them free for this tourney. If it becomes an issue, I may consider buying prem tho.
