Oddly enough, I've been randomly paired with him in a different tourney. He just seemed to have disappeared.

After approximately two weeks we have our first team knocked out! Commiserations to Team 1 (king_kory, bpt777, rmjw10 and G0rgatr0n) but congratulations to Team 2 for accruing the 6 games needed to pass through to the second round.
[EDIT]Regarding their opponents in the next round, as Team 3 are currently 5-3 up, and considering the way things are going in Game 12753415, it looks like they will be Team 2's next opponents. Team 3 are their next opponents after dispatching Team 4 6-3 (correct at time of writing). Commiserations go to Team 4 (waauw, mcrn55, The Voice and Taylor Bishop), best of luck in your future endeavours.

In other news, in the games with Teams 5 and 6 and Teams 7 and 8, everything appears to still be up in the air. I am keeping a close eye on proceedings, may the best teams win.

Even though we went down in the first round I wanted to thank you. This was a very intresting idea for a tournament and I really enjoyed it.
