Because of rounds 1, 3, and 5, can you put a round limit on the game?

I could but it is first player eliminated is eliminated from the tourney. What would happen if after the limit all players are still in?

Person with the least troops is eliminated? I think that's probably better than a stalemate. What happens if it's a stalemate?

It worked fin when I did the tourney format before. That was random map but I will set a 30 round limit to ensure it runs smoothly.
