Sorry yes, that's a mistake - You can match players to the preferred spoil setting, is what I meant to say. Swapping round players is also fine, ie: Round 1 AB, CD play the doubles, and then in round 2, AC, BD and so on.

Just to add to this, who decides which spoils go with the quads game? For instance, if clan A want to play No Spoils for the quads and Esc+FR for the two dubs games, while clan B wants Esc on quads...

I decide that (or more specifically, a RNG). You will be dealt the games by me, and it is then your choice how to fill the doubles. There will be 1 of each Esc/FR/No each round, which one goes on the quads game is random.
