Now, I'm no authority, but If I'd suggest you go to his inbox, look at the two PM's from DaveH, and join his two games.
I can't see why you shouldn't do this as a sitter. This is a tournament, and as such you are allowed to join games from the person you sit for. The fact that the TO has sent the links in a PM instead of directly inviting the person should be of no consequence.

Re the above, that is good advice. I send the games out by pm then I check in a day or two and invite directly any player who has not picked up their pm joining instructions. You would be surprised how many players do not seem to check their mail!

Thanks guys - Ghost is active again so possibly been away, but I may have another absentee so I'll get back to you both when I know more.

I have been asked to do a major tournament for TPA4 and thought that 7-Up III might be a good one to put forward - especially as we now have up to 6 players per team. That makes a 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and singles game per round with all 7 players playing in three of these games. What do you guys think?

Subscript - Note that team games of 5 and 6 players are not yet possible, so that idea is on hold! I may run another 7-Up but only when this one is completed.

Is there a reason 12 points were given when the game ended in round 12?

Singles games are best of 5 and three of the games have to be won in less than 10 rounds for the full 12 points to be awarded, and that happened:

I still have 19 unclaimed games despite sending the original pm and then a direct invite. I will send invites once more and any game that is refused again will be forfeited.

I am happy if team captains nominate a replacement or, as a one-off in this round, another member of their team to take a player's place if there is a valid reason for refusing an invite.

jalen45 has retired, what should we do about that? I am his sitter in his last 2 remaining games ( public/tourney) but I can jump in for him since i know he will not be back in the next couple of weeks.
