Just checking on the structure. You state this is a round robin with more maps to come if necessary. So, it looks right now like you need 5-7 more weeks of games. Is that right? If so, can you go ahead and plan those out?

Besides week 3 and week 7 these are some shitty ass 1vs1 maps. Too small for skill with the exception of the neutral maps like feudal where it is a matter of who sits and stacks the longest then attacks(I still don't call that skill). Point being the 10 round rule for single games is ridiculously easy with all small maps. Games should be over in 7 rounds tops.

Pretty sure I'm going to bow out. Should have looked at the map lineup before signing up. Peanutman you have a total of <750 games played so I understand the mistake but I am not going to be dragged through 17 weeks of luck based games. Keep in mind this is coming from a player who has most of his tournament wins in 1vs1 style games.

In light of KiIIface's comments, I will review the list of maps with other TOs/TDs and may make some changes to the maps if it seems to be too much based on luck. Feel free to PM me any concerns or suggestions, as I wish this tournament to be challenging for all. Also let me know if you feel that the maps are great as is. Always open to feedback!

I'm going to have to back up Kf. For the reason stated above, I was too worried to join the singles. If you'd switch the singles games to Man/Trench/Adj the maps would be fine as the skill level would immediately increase. However, as it is, I feel like the singles players have a very risky schedule, especially for a point whore like myself -- excess my french.

The thing about Man/Trench/Adj or even switching the settings to something else -- a lot of people don't appreciate the complexities. The games become dry for many, but for me I'm very intrigued by these types of settings. There are a lot of good players sitting on a singles position in this tournament though so I am sure if you look into it and take a vote many of them would choose to switch into more complicated settings.

Anyways, I was just coming in here to check out how teams are scoring. My team is about to finish the first round and I wouldn't mind posting mine or however you want to do that it's cool with me.

Personally I feel the singles maps for the majority are fine. Don't see an crazy advantage maps except for maybe rorke's drift.

Wouldn't change the settings, especially not to trench. Though I like trench, I don't feel like its right for this tourney and in a way favors the player going 1st even more.

I never mentioned the settings. I said the maps are luck based. Too small for strategies to unfold. It is over by round 2.
