Sorry to intrude on your spokesperson responsibilities, but the 3rd one is especially interesting. That'll happen in the future and without government central planning. It'd be similar to RateMyProfessor or a Wikipedia.

Woah... I certainly didn't give you the night off. I particularly need your approval on the math jokes in some of these couple here.

The technology to do that is almost here, the tricky part is making it socially acceptable to whip out your phone and photograph the face of a stranger before engaging in conversation with them.

Fine. All approved (those before your post, AND the ones since). (TBH, sometimes I just take it on faith that the mathy stuff is not gibberish. It's the flip side of willing suspension of disbelief. Free particle propagator derivations, wormholes, the Cochrane warp drive: they're all on a spectrum of reality and I can enjoy them all.

Again, liking these. However, the last one led me to a dead end. Google found me the first two steps, and eventually a walkthrough of the sequence, but the walkthrough seems to lie about the final step. No time for further investigation.

Props to the third one. I guess the real problem is that there are still a lot of people who know less about how their computer accesses the Internet than about how their TV receives a signal, so you have to ask the dumb questions first. Still, it irks me.
