If you had to fully convert to a religion ...

If you had to fully convert to one of the listed religions other than your own under penalty of death (for purposes of this poll, atheism and agnosticism are religions), and this conversion were full and for life and not in name only, to which would you convert?

Buddhism, Jainism and Taoism are intentionally not options because they're cop-out choices for all you hippies.

You probably aren't looking for a serious answer....but isn't it impossible to fully convert to a religion without believing in it 100% in which case it would be your first choice? But then again the religious mindset will always be a mystery to me.

As near as possible then ... you would have to renounce your previous religion, refrain from any of its rituals for the rest of your life and participate in whatever conversion requirements the new religion demanded.

Buddhism is a cop out but Atheism and Agnosticism aren't? That's some logic...

I agree atheism and agnosticism are not religions per se,but some argue the atheistic Eastern religions excluded by Saxi are more philosophies than religions

I went with Islam since it appears (at least to me) most closely aligned with my current religion. I also have met a small sample size of Muslims and I like them all (which doesn't really mean anything, but it would be good to go to a mosque with people I actually like).

I would become a Sikh. Because I've always secretly wanted to wear a turban and carry a huge knife.

Well, when he teamed up with James Bond he saw off an alien invasion, no prob.
You, yer knife, and yer turban would be easy meat after that.

If I can't have Jainism, can I at least have Zoroastrian?

I chose Chirtianity, as I chose to view it as Orthodox Chirstianity. I chose this one as it's the one where you can most get by by simply going through the motions.

I believe in nothing really, but I like Hinduism a lot. All the coloured pictures of their Gods and the idea behind them, make me believe it's a good religion to live your life by.
