Rofl, yeah I knew I was probably putting my foot in something there but for the sake of sharing I offered up my fair flesh.
Just to clarify, I was under the impression that it was just people dressing up like sailor moon and the like, not a subculture. Anyway, I've been labelled a racist already on these forums so what have I got to lose?

IMO, it's part of this forum's allure. It's tradition.

Racism is lurking everywhere! Even in the most unsuspecting of pictures!

I repeat the question: what has that picture got to do with racism? can you give me specifics? because I'm not seeing it

I'm really the most untrustworthy of all of these people?

You guys trust xeno and nietzche over me?

Clearly I need to work on my public image.

I think you're reading into it too much faded. :)
All I saw was a military looking dude pointing to a screen that showed a red blinking area where racism was detected. Ya know, its pretty funny imagery really. Well, I loled anyway...

So, I see a picture of someone pointing to something, and it reads:

"RACISM DETECTED!"

above and below the picture, then I figure people would interpet this is as: "thar be racism about"

(in other words, the picture conveys somebody doing something, and the captions help to provide additional meaning).

Since you're in the military, you're going to understand more meaning beyond the mere superficial, which my post portrayed. This is probably why my post of that picture is causing this misunderstanding.

see I was reading your post as the picture itself contained the racism, thus my confusion and error... my apologies
and yeah, I was probably trying to read WAY too much into it, as I actually had an idea of what I was looking at. *L* my own cognitive bias at work
