Toast, bagels, English muffins, fresh baked bread, scones, pancakes, corn bread, muffins

SMOTHERED in any of these:

Yeah, sorry. Sometimes the urge to self promote overwhelms my natural Suave.

I tried to sell him my "Wierd Al" style parody on the O'jays For the Love of Money but he went with that off key song instead,

Honey honey honey honey - HONEY! (x6)
Some people, got to have it.
Some people, really need it.
Listen to me y'all, on toast, on whores, do bad things with it
You want pancakes, corn bread, muffins, eat toast with it
Talk about good honey, honey
Talk about good honey- Bee's barf, yall

When some former colleagues of mine stayed on a Japanese ocean research vessel, they ate fish, often with radishes, for breakfast.

For myself, I often wind up eating leftovers for breakfast. When I cook from "scratch", I tend to make crepes, eggy french toast. I enjoy kipers on toast, but they tend to be expensive.

Sometimes I make an eggy bread pudding with fruit and sometimes nuts (use 1-2 more eggs than is normal and cook it at a lightly lower heat). That way I use up old bread and have an almost ready-made breakfast.

I'll try anything once and tbh I'm sick of what I eat for breakfast. I don't think I've ever eaten fish and radishes for breakfast but then I've never been offered it. I know what you're thinking but I am a terrible cook. :|

Most definitely NOT. They were looking for juvenile tuna, in fact, on a joint US-Japanese study.

What do they eat in China? I can't imagine eating rice or noodles for breakfast.

In Hawaii, McDonald's served rice with a lot of their breakfasts. Rice and eggs can go well together.

My wife is Filipino... I can attest to the fact that eggs and rice is good together.
I have also had hotdogs for breakfast (in lieu of sausage... based on availability)... this is good mix; i.e. fried rice, eggs, hot dog.

When I was growing up (Irish in Boston) potatoes were my staple starch. Rice has taken it's place.

Every normal morning (last 15 years): Bowls of fresh cut fruit for my kids and me, big glass of milk and toast for the kids....coffee for me. Special mornings, blueberry pancakes or waffles and fruit and pepper bacon....really special mornings we go out and chow down on whatever (my favorite is a dish with hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, ham, eggs and all smothered in country gravy....mmm mmm mmm.....I can actually FEEL my arteries harden!) and a big ol Bloody Mary....fun thread!
