I thought this thread would be about the royal couple. I leave dissapointed.

I thought so too, and yet I succeeded in adapting to the winds of change, and I have enjoyed it despite its failure to occupy its predetermined niche in my worldview. In fact, I may have enjoyed it even more because of its paradigm-stretching potentialities. I'm not saying I enjoyed it quite as much as, say, arguing politics with a retired paratrooper on a flight from Amsterdam to New York, but I certainly enjoyed it more than, for instance, a Methodist sermon. I think truly parabolic strides in our comprehension of the indomitable spirit of bad comics and shoeless baseball players are possible if we but spread our net over this thread and grok it fully.

Serbia's ambassador to Nato was chatting and joking with colleagues in a multi-story parking garage at Brussels Airport when he suddenly strolled to a barrier, climbed over and flung himself to his death.

"It was a suicide," said Ine Van Wymersch of the Brussels prosecutor's office. She said no further investigation was planned.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner says in a report released Thursday that 32-year-old Valeria "Munique" Tachiquin Alvarado suffered 14 gunshot wounds to her upper body.
