Corporate America owns almost everything you see. If a person is born into such environment they know nothing more than whats being seen around them. If everything around them is consume what else do they know? Propaganda and subconscious submission is an art nowdays and governments and corporations are the masters of it. Most everything you see is so carefully scripted to coerce a person to think a certain way. Amost like its always been this way. When people say political they think republican or democrat. Thats not the case. Everything you do is political its just to what means does it serve.

The Tea Party at one point was constantly in the news. Now they are a long forgotten group, like Occupy Wall Street.

First of all, there are a lot of differences between the Tea Party and the Occupy movement. But more importantly, being "forgotten" isn't always a bad thing. Having been constantly insulted by the mainstream media, going "under the radar" is probably the best thing the movements have going for them (and there is no single movement). They exist, debate issues, make decisions and attempt to have those decisions implemented. Since they are mostly grass roots organizations this generally tends to occur at the local level. Depending on the demographics they are often somewhat successful. If they are too successful then they are no longer necessary. If they are rarely successful then they are never noticed by anyone.

They are also never noticed if they manage to prevent major progressive agendas since the lack of a progressive event is a non event in the mainstream media and thus not worth reporting.

And what about Agenda 21? Here we have a Reuters news article about the Tea Party and the UN Resolution.

A small percentage of Americans say it is an attack on their very existence - part of a grand conspiracy to take away their gun rights, destroy suburbia and turn America into a modern-day Soviet state.

So, the Tea Party has been racking up small victories since they were first proposed by that wild and crazy financial reporter at the Chicago Merchantile Exchange and pushed massivlely by Glenn Beck. Moreover they are under the radar now and not a frequent target of the main stream media's need to hate conservatives mantra. Reports of their death are greatly premature.
