I saw Dweezil a couple of years ago, and Frank a few decades ago.

I never really got Frank. I have at least 2 Dweezil CDs.

Dweezil live was fucking incredible.

Frank is definitely an acquired taste but have been listening to him since he put out Joe's Garage.

Look at his discography, he was incredibly prolific. When I saw him live he did a vicious Whipping Post.

I'm the type of guy who recognizes that music, like all art, is 80-90% subjective, so no offense, but every time I hear that song I am amazed that people still want to listen to it. Especially if it was specifically requested, like on one of those you control the radio deals. I've never understood the appeal, aside from that irritatingly catchy violin riff, that I'm so tired of before the song is a quarter over. I just don't understand it.

I'm not really a fan of the original, just the VSQ cover.

That's fair enough, and I'm not judging anyone for liking either. It just doesn't compute in my mind.

Maybe this is a better song to share here ;). My favorite Soundtrack producer, Clint Mansell:

the most popular.... maybe. but in my opinion the absolute worst. now, i do like some of his songs. but mainly the more soothing lyrical with catchy guitar riffs. to me his sound is not pleasing at all and to hear it for several minutes is just plain torture. i'm not saying he can't play... or is not an artist. it's just i don't like his sound.

my favorite SSB has always been boston. especially the clean sounding drum licks in the beginning and end. sounds good cranked up. take a listen if you will.

No Sigur Ros or Mogwai posted?

Friend of the Night by Mogwai

Untitled 3 + 4 by Sigur Ros are amazing.

Perfect for the end of Vanilla Sky.
