Only 1 kid gets showered with presents while the rest have to suffer through the said kid opening present after present in front of them? The inhumanity!

That's not a "flaw" although trying to get the kid to play "pin the tail on the donkey" is definitely a flaw. It's very traumatic; it make me a life long Republican. :P

And who in their right mind thought that sending the kids to a filthy rat was the best way to celebrate a birthday? Chuck E. Cheese? Give me a break!

Anyway, I'll go with the odds here ... A very merry Unbirthday to you!

One of the best things I ever watched was some wanna be gangsta getting a police escort out of Chuck E. Cheese after being the third such parent threatening the staff because. "I paid for this party, Yo. I don't care if the contract says only half an hour. I didn't read that shit. You don't know who you're deallin' with, I'll f..."

Simply spectacular.
Memories like that can't be bought for a child. They can forever charish it and regale people with the story. On my X birthday at Chuck E. Cheese my dad nearly got arrested.

Fundamental Flaw #2. Wax and/or spit and/or phlegm on the cake from some snotty nosed toothless 6 year old blowing out the candles.

And pinatas... how many injuries do we have to see before we say "no" to pinatas?

LOL.. nowadays pinatas come with ribbons that kids can pull, instead of the old "hit it until it bursts".

The Royal Canadian Dental Association banned Pinatas in Canada in 1981.

Disappointed in the lack of Nick Cave in this thread.

Never seen those. Granted I haven't seen a pinata used (personally) since about the 7th grade.
