Everyone who is able should tune in to watch Justin Verlander pitch against Houston. That's all I'm saying about it.

Bollocks.

So I did. Whatever. 4 game sweep of Houston, we've won 9 of our last 10. Go Tigers.

Shouldn't every team sweep Houston?

Cardinals had a 4 game sweep of the Brewers. Have won 6 straight games, have won 7 straight road games, and have the best record in the NL. And the bullpen finally got their first win of the season (to a player in his second major league appearance no less, lol)!

Wins against Houston should only count as half a win.

Houston's played 10 series.
They've been swept 4 times.
They've won 2 series; both against Seattle.

The kc manager is so stupid... shields was pitching a terrific game and has proven he can pitch up to 130 pitches in a game... took him out, the bullpen blew it.

Shields is awesome, i,ve always liked him for the redsox but no, they have to waste their money in lackey, crawford, dempster...

I'll take a couple rocked games if he pitchs the other 30+ games lights out.

Oh, definitely. And hopefully he starts a string of lights-out performances on Wednesday at Cleveland. And I'm hoping for that mostly because I'll be at that game.

The Indians are playing good ball under Francona.

Scherzer and the Tigers got the win tonight, 5-1. Nice ballpark there in Cleveland, downtown is nicer than Detroit's, though that's not saying much.

f*ck f*ck f*ck f*ck..

I'm finally facing a decent opponent in fantasy baseball and suddenly my batters go silent. All of them. A single. 3 strikeouts. 2 strikeouts. 5-0. A single. 5-1.

wtf.

none of them were in the strike zone lol

In related news, Anibal Sanchez of the Tigers threw 8.1ip of no-hitter until Mauer got a single. This is fun because I can imagine Serbia's look when he lost it.

In more related news, the 1B umpire in the Texas vs Seattle game gave an out even though Moreland, the 1B of Texas, didn't catch the ball. And he had the foot separated from the bag. The ball was caught by the pitcher who was nearby because it was a 3-4-3 double play.

I wasn't fully invested in the game. I started watching the ESPN Gamecast online at about the 5th inning, didn't put the game on TV until the top of the 8th. I was disappointed for sure when Morneau got a hit, but with a 6-0 lead, it wasn't the end of the world.

Actually Mauer got the hit. And I'm a hockey fan, primarily. Ergo, signature.

I confess to almighty God
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words,
in what I have done and in what I have failed to do,
through my fault, through my fault,
through my most grievous fault;

And while I wasn't expecting CC Sabathia to choke as badly as he did today against Tampa Bay, I was highly suspecting that he was going to go into a big time slump and so I was more than happy to trade him to nietzsche in an evil attempt to spoil his perfect record fantasy season.

therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin,
all the Angels and Saints,
and you, my brothers and sisters of Conquer Club,
to pray for me to the Lord our God.

Shame it was too little, too late and -1 point isn't going to change this week's final result.

LMAO.

But he will come back to his usual. I've won already this week, it was close, but I had a few tricks under my sleeve ;)
