My vote goes to a Mojito drunk at a pavement bar in old Havana.

I must say I enjoyed the video but there was a serious lack of tasty looking drinks there.

I want to hear about truly outstanding times people ordered "an old fashioned." or something and it was perfect.

Feb is birthday season here but that does sound interesting. I think I would rather dodge the high season so we could move around easier.

Dude, you need to be on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras. There is a reason.

Mardis Gras is probably the WORST time to visit New Orleans. Everything is more expensive, crowded and a lot of stuff is closed. (even bars off the main drag)

My favorite city is wherever I live.. in my living room. I guess I am getting old, but the bar scene is just boring to me.

Mardi Gras is when you give the girls beads and they show you their tits.

I don't want the "Scene", I wanted to know where the best made drinks are. Things that are local specialties that are not as good or don't exist elsewhere. Like the original MaiTai does not even exist at all, there is only copies because Trader Vic's good rum ran out years ago they bottle some nasty stuff now in it's place.

I see how it turned into, "favorite place for a watered down Jack Daniels and Coke." and that's fine too.

I'm an extrovert* so I could see the attraction of mardi gras. I don't know how often I can make it down there.

I just know kind of like playadigits says, I would enjoy being there when there's plenty of shrimp and Po Boys to go around and less trying to navigate while getting pushed around.

* At least I used to be, I don't get out as much and I really hate the mosh pit at concerts. "Quit pushing I'm trying to watch the Dixie Band and look at tits."

If it was closer and not so close to all these birthdays, I'd probably go on Fat Tuesday.

This is sometimes true.

Fantasy Fest in Key West is better. 8-)

Of course since that's in October, you can always visit them both and compare.

There is also the Cony Island Mermaid Parade but they need kickstarter funds to keep it going this year. No beads necessary to see the tits. That would be in June.

I think that covers the tit trifecta.

Not quite. There is a park in Montreal where all the people go topless one day a year. I think it's in June.

There's bars here where you can look at them everyday, problem is the mixed drinks are lacking awesome.

While no one actually takes advantage of the greatest loophole in the Nanny State of New York City, technically you can go topless all year round.

Yes, Ladies, You Can Walk Around the City Topless

The state's highest court established long ago that women have the same right as men to appear topless in public. Absent a link to some commercial enterprise or promotion, the woman's lack of certain attire in this instance does not appear to be a police matter.
