I've read and argued for and against this. I guess for me the issues divide into-

1) Is this really a religious issue? Plenty of religious folks follow the same faith without it being an issue, after all. It's not a key tenet.
2) Is it a political issue? Are they arguing that it's a political opinion that they oppose, however offensive?

With 1, I'm wary of people who mask bigotry under the cloak of religion. I doubt they'd be happy to bake a gay wedding cake if they had some sort of crisis of faith, and likewise, I doubt that baking a gay wedding cake would be something that broke their faith.

With 2- I have more sympathy. I don't agree with their opinion, but it is a political stance.

No, Betiko , I envision the soon-to-be hit song, Bake My Dick, Bitch to be a an upbeat ballad about Symdiot and his soon-to-be hubby torturously harassing and intimidating a poor, frightened, and devoutly religious baker, thereby, forcing the abused pastry chef into creating a demonically foul and phallic baked good fit only to seal their unholy union in the eyes of the Devil.

Ha! It's hardly a dream, but rather the real and awakened nightmare that thousands of Christian bakers have to deal with on a daily basis.

The answer is No, you fool. I'm not freaking out.
Hoerver, I am right.
Arranging text and space in an efficient, logical and attractive manner can only enhance communication and user experience on the forums.
...not that Duk would ever truly care about that.

Look at how nicely the top line of my post lines up with the quote box above it... and then look at how poorly Sym's useless comment lines up.

You are kinda freaking out. One of the most obvious signs of a freak out is loudly denying that you're freaking out.

"I'm not freaking out"

Attacking the people who point this out to you is another good indicator of a freak out.

You know, deep down, that the line formatting of Duk's post isn't really important. The part of you that is freaking out thinks that it is.

Calm down, buddy.

Wrong. Properly writing forum posts is important and also forum-related.

What would you know about proper formatting? I was editing newsletters when you were still in diapers. I think I know a little bit more about proper formatting than you do.

The Quote function adds a subtle but noticeable colour change to the text. After a colour change, smart editors always allow a line of white space for the eye to reset before resuming text.

No... no... no.... There is already ample padding around the quote's text box. This is clearly evident when looking at my quote response... but the gap is excessively separated with yours.

I shall disregard your self-flattering claims of being an experienced and presumably competent 'newsletter editor'. The currently available evidence suggests otherwise.

Fair enough, 2D. I mostly don't remember what he's having a tantrum about either. Figuring out what he's angry about is difficult.
