The more obvious problem is surely that Norse has conflated the Swedish Social Democratic Party (whose policies Guiscard was originally talking about) with the likes of Stalin et al?

Without looking up Wikipedia or anything, I'm going to make a quick comparison of genocidal victims under the Swedish SDP, and those under Hitler, and see if there is a notable difference. Here goes:

Victims of genocide at the hands of Hitler: > 12 MILLION

Maybe we need to analyse this further, but I'd tentatively suggest that the policies of the Swedish SDP have probably generally been more benign than Hitler's. Just tentatively, though.

Please take this seriously and don't put something stupid or impossible in today's world. Meaning don't say the perfect government would be the one where everyone gathered together to vote on every law, because unless you have less than 1000 people that's just not going to happen.

Ok... I will make it so that Nintendo is the ONLY gaming corporation that advanced. They have been here since 1985 (Time check) and made it to TODAY.

Grrr. I'm not bothering to reply to Norse's initial response - I, and most people in the world, have better things to do than argue about whether the Swedish Social Democratic Party is/was as genocidal as Hitler, or not.

But 12 million was not a typo. I don't what far-right-wing-extremist site Norse got that picture from, but all the figures on it look massively exagerrated, and at any rate, does not state exactly what the numbers of people correspond to (ie, does it include military deaths, etc.) In fact they look fucking random to me.

So I restricted myself to the number of victims of the genocide under Hitler's regime - The Holocaust. And the figure generally regarded as being the best estimate is >12 million. The figure includes Soviet POWs, as it generally does.

This can be checked on the Holocaust page on Wikipedia, or anywhere else (reliable) really. Just don't ask David Irving.
